Porque Transit quiere rendir homenaje al universo inagotable de las teen movies, un género que no ha gozado de la repercusión crítica que merece, hemos decidido embarcarnos en el especial “Momentos teen”. En él se dan cita una veintena de textos que serán publicados colectivamente, en dos bloques, a lo largo de esta semana.

De la evocación al análisis, de la autobiografía a la celebración, de la profundidad al deleite… Las aproximaciones de quienes han participado en este proyecto presentan tonos y enfoques muy distintos, pero también trazan líneas que convergen en puntos inesperados dibujando sorprendentes conexiones entre ciertas películas.

El resultado final puede leerse como un álbum de fragmentos escogidos, como una colección de escenas íntimas, como un mosaico de momentos suspendidos en el aire que tratan de capturar algo intrínsecamente teen: ese sentimiento adolescente…

Because Transit wants to pay tribute to the vast universe of the teen movie – a genre that has not enjoyed the critical uptake it deserves – we have decided to embark upon a ‘Teen Moments’ special. It gathers together twenty texts that will be published collectively, in two blocks, over the coming week.

From evocation to analysis, from autobiography to celebration, from profundity to delight … The glimpses of those who have participated in the project offer quite distinct tonalities and approaches – but also trace lines that converge at unexpected points, sparking surprising connections between certain films.

The final result can be read as an album of select fragments – like a collection of intimate scenes, or a mosaic of suspended moments that seek to capture something intrinsically teen: that teenage feeling …
